Supplied Air Respirator
Supplied-air respirator is respiratory protective devices supplying clean air to a user through an air-supply hose, supplied-air respirators provide superior protection and ensure easy breathing and are favored in a variety of industrial fields.
Unlike SCBA, supplied-air respirators are lightweight, and there is no risk of the supplied air running out.
- Full face mask type combination air line respirator with auxiliary self-contained air supply.
- Full face mask type air line respirator with emergency supply-air switch warning device.
- Hose mask can be used where oxygen concentration is more than 14%.
Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) are used to protect users against oxygen deficiency, dust, gases and vapors at plants, aboard vessels, at fire and in tunnels
The apparatus can be used even if in the oxygen deficiency or unknown the contaminants.
SCBA has the air breathing apparatus and oxygen breathing apparatus.
There are two types of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus as below
1: Air Breathing Apparatus- The SCBA supplies the compressed air from the air cylinder to the wearer through cylinder valve, pressure reducer, pressure demand valve or demand valve. Exhaled air goes to the atmosphere through exhalation valve.
2: Self-containing Breathing Apparatus
The SCBA supplies the compressed oxygen from the oxygen cylinder to the wearer through cylinder valve, pressure reducer, demand valve, etc.
Carbon dioxide in exhales air is absorbed by the absorbing canister, and oxygen is re-supplied through a breathing bag. This mechanism enables for long time use.
